The Kia brand makes some of the most user-friendly, fuel-economical, and overall dependable vehicles on the road. While that includes high-performance SUVs, like the Telluride, you can also find fantastic sedans like the K5 or Forte. Here's a sneak peek at some of the best 2024 iterations from this popular maker.
2024 Kia Forte
Kia has fitted the Forte with several new safety upgrades, particularly on its GT-Line trim. In it, you'll find improved lane keep assist, an electronic parking brake, and front automatic emergency braking. There may be a replacement for the Forte some time within a couple years, but for now this is one of their best for fuel economy, easy driving, and acceleration.
2024 Kia K5
The K5 falls into the "midsize sedan" category, making it larger than the Forte. The bigger frame helps it achieve stellar safety scores for its class, and even its standard version is loaded with tech and style features. While it has stiff competition from the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, this car certainly offers a slick exterior appearance.
2024 Kia Carnival
We're expecting this minivan to receive more substantial updates in 2025, but the 2024 version is pretty reliable. Kia opted to remove certain features (the EX Power tailgate and one-touch raising windows), but it won't disappoint with its abundant cargo and passenger space. Critics also praise it for smooth riding and respectable interior features, commensurate with its affordable price tag.
Kia K4: Coming in 2025
This smaller sedan should hit the auto market next year with the aim of replicating some of the old Stinger's features (including hatchback options). It might replace the Forte with a greater emphasis on technology and performance. K4 is the working name for this car, so we'll keep you posted on further updates in the future.
Farewell to the Kia Rio
Kia has discontinued the popular Rio this year. This goes for both the sedan and hatchback version. They may decide to replace the small and affordable model with something electrical, but that's only speculation at this point.
