If you're after a safe and reliable vehicle, then you always have to keep an eye on what's available from Mazda. That brand has earned a sterling reputation by manufacturing several driver-friendly, safe, and durable cars and SUVs. This page will go over some of the recent changes to your Mazda favorites like the Mazda3, CX-9, CX-30, and MX-30.
2023 Mazda CX-9
Mazda intends to replace the CX-9 series in 2024, so this is the farewell edition. You won't notice many changes to this 3-row crossover other than new LED fog lights, a power moonroof, seating enhancements, and wireless phone chargers for the Touring trim.
2023 Mazda CX-30
The CX-30 has a few more changes, including a modest uptick in torque from 186 lb-ft to 191 lb-ft thanks to its naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine. Despite the increase in engine power, it actually gains about 2 mpg of fuel economy for city driving, something we can never ignore in Staten Island. This vehicle also includes various safety upgrades like rear seat pre-tensioners and rear seat airbags (2nd row).
2023 Mazda MX-30
This is Mazda's first electric vehicle, which debuted in 2022. The 2023 version doesn't have too many changes.
2023 Mazda CX-50
This year's CX-50 offers a new trim package: the Meridian Edition. It offers some nice exterior class with18-inch rims and Falken all-terrain tires. This fine Mazda SUV comes with brand new headlight garnish, and an "Apex" upgrade for roof-mounted black crossbars, roof platform, and front and rear splash guards.
2023 Mazda Mazda3
This model, available in either sedan or hatchback form, also comes with the naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine with the same torque increase as the CX-30. Mazda also made several reconfigurations to the various trim options based on front-wheel or all-wheel-drive capabilities. The Mazda3 2.5 Turbo edition will only be available for the hatchback format.
2023 MX-5 Miata
This dandy roadster will look pretty similar to its 2022 iteration except for its paint selections. They've discontinued Polymetal Grey in favor of Zircon Sand Metallic.
2023 Mazda CX-5
The only change for this model involves substituting the Snowflake Pearl Mica exterior paint with the new Rhodium White premium paint.
